Victorian Hairwork with Courtney Lane

Learn how to work, weave, and sculpt human hair into sentimental works of art in the Victorian fashion. This course will give you a strong foundation for performing the wire work techniques used in making hair wreaths and will provide an introduction to the palette work (flat picture) techniques often seen in Victorian mourning jewelry. nStudents are requested to bring a picture frame of their choice to class. Human hair, horse hair, and all the necessary tools will be provided by the instructor.
