Trick or Treat Tag for Plummer Youth Promise

Trick or Treat Tag for Plummer is a great way to celebrate Halloween with our families safely, and to help support youth in foster care and find them forever families! We know many Salem events (including our beloved annual Haunted Happenings parade) and trick-or-treating may be cancelled this year due to COVID-19, so this is a COVID-friendly opportunity for our Salem youth to show off their best costumes, and a fun way for parents to teach our youth the value of volunteering and giving back. Here are some more details:

October in Salem, MA is upon us and Plummer Youth Promise is launching a social media fundraising campaign called Trick or Treat for Plummer throughout the month of October. This is an exciting, new, virtual event, and we would love for you to help kick off the fun! Trick or Treat Tag is similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge. All you have to do is:

1. Give a treat and trick a friend! Go to bitly.com/donatetoplummer and make a donation in honor of a friend. Any amount counts – Big or small!
2. Share a photo of you (Or your family! Or your pets!) in a Halloween costume. It can be a throwback photo, or a new photo. Tag your friend and challenge them to do the same! You can copy and paste this template below to use in your social media post, along with your costume photo. 

Tag you’re it! I gave a treat to @PlummerYouthPromise in honor of (@ your friend). Now it’s your turn! Post your best Halloween costume photo of you, your family and/or your pets and tag someone else to participate by making a “treat” in their honor by visiting https://bitly.com/donatetoplummer.
