Trick or Treat Tag for Plummer is a great way to celebrate Halloween with our families safely, and to help support youth in foster care and find them forever families! We know many Salem events (including our beloved annual Haunted Happenings parade) and trick-or-treating may be cancelled this year due to COVID-19, so this is a COVID-friendly opportunity for our Salem youth to show off their best costumes, and a fun way for parents to teach our youth the value of volunteering and giving back. Here are some more details:
October in Salem, MA is upon us and Plummer Youth Promise is launching a social media fundraising campaign called Trick or Treat for Plummer throughout the month of October. This is an exciting, new, virtual event, and we would love for you to help kick off the fun! Trick or Treat Tag is similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge. All you have to do is:
Tag you’re it! I gave a treat to @PlummerYouthPromise in honor of (@ your friend). Now it’s your turn! Post your best Halloween costume photo of you, your family and/or your pets and tag someone else to participate by making a “treat” in their honor by visiting https://bitly.com/donatetoplummer. Happy Halloween! Let’s #TrickorTreat4Plummer, have fun, and support youth in foster care!
Plummer Youth Promise will be awarding some AWESOME prizes throughout the course of the month for best costumes and a Grand Prize winner will be voted by youth in our Group Home Program! Make sure to follow Plummer on Facebook and Instagram and check out our media tool kit with graphics and messaging you can use to get started.
