The Salem Fairy Fest

On the weekend of August 17 & 18, the grassy area in front of 3 Hawthorne Boulevard will be transformed into a Fairy Wonderland. This is our second Annual Fairy Fest, and it will be better than last year but we’re bringing back some of our favorites, such as the Mona Shoola Dance Ensemble, Face Painting, Fairy Door Decorating. The Fairy Grandmother will be back with us to lead our naming ceremony. We’ll have games to play and opportunities to receive training in the art of Fairy War (very different from that of man). nShare the Magic of Lammas and the Fairies by celebrating Fairies with a Naming Ceremony by Ancient Fae Elders, face painting, games, the Art of Fae Warfare and much more. nWalk the Fairy Door Trail and check out the magical entry into the fairy kingdom- this happens through the fairy doors hidden in certain shops (on the fairy map).  When you find them all come join us in the merriment at 3 Hawthorne Blvd, and be sure to create your own fairy door. nLearn more at salemfairyfest.com. n Source: https://www.salem.org/event/the-salem-fairy-fest/2019-08-17/
