During Salem Heritage Days, we are offering various programs which highlight the museum’s connections to our city’s maritime history. nThe Family Navigation Game: Families are invited to explore our grounds with map and compass in hand. They will ‘sail’ between different ‘ports’, learning interesting facts along the way.nWhen: Daily August 1 – 11 10:00-6:00 nLiving History Lab: Navigation Skills: Do you know how ships found their way before GPS? Come get your hands on some simple navigation activities and find out!nWhen: August 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 & 11 11:00-3:00 nAdditional events include: nHawthorne in Hollywood: Join us for a presentation of the 2018 ‘The House of the Seven Gables’ with filmmaker Ben Wickey.nWhen: August 1 6:30 – 8:30 nSalem Maritime Festival: Try your skill with a quill at the Salem Maritime Festival.nWhen: August 3 & 4 10:00 – 4:00 nCaribbean Connections Celebration: Come celebrate with the dynamic students from our summer enrichment program as they re-tell their summer adventures and learning.nWhen: August 8 12:30 – 2:30 nAll events are included with paid admission.
