Taize multilingual, sung service of contemplative prayer

Please join us for a multilingual, sung service of contemplative prayer, also known as Taize, in our historic, candlelit church. Taize began in France during WWII, soon after its founder was forced out of his home for sheltering Jews and others. The simple yet beautiful prayers are chanted in a variety of languages, including French, Spanish, German, English, and Mandarin, and resonate through the evening candlelit space of St. Peters, itself an historic home whose founder was arrested and falsely charged with witchcraft. All are most welcome, whatever your denomination or beliefs.
