Salem Ferry Opens for the Season

The Salem Ferry resumes daily service to and from Boston on Friday, May 26th, 2023. While the Salem Chamber was unfortunately unable to organize the Welcome Back Salem Ferry event, we encourage everyone to utilize the Ferry this year. The approximately 50 minute trip between the 2 ports is full of beautiful views of the North Shore beaches and rugged coastline, lighthouses, oceanfront mansions, and the islands of Boston Harbor and Salem Sound. Also featuring a full-liquor and snack bar, the 150 passenger ferry is quick, convenient, and includes a discount for Salem residents as well as residents of Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Marblehead, Peabody and Swampscott. Click here for more information about the Salem Ferry, schedule, tickets, directions, and more.
