Record Store Day

Record Store Day 2024 at the Record Exchange & our 50th Anniversary! Come join us as WE celebrate RSD with you, our amazing customers & friends, old & new, on Saturday, April 20th from 10am to 5pm!

We’ll have a healthy load of RSD limited edition records (including some UK and European releases, AND The Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam and Taylor Swift LP releases from April 19th), a sale on USED digital media & books, AND we’ll be offering our brand new Record Exchange 50th Anniversary T-Shirts & LP carry bags. Details will follow on our Record Exchange Facebook page, so do check in the coming weeks.

The LINE forms along the Pond Street side of the shop as usual, and for the first 2 hours or so, 8 customers will be allowed in at one time to move things along smoothly, quickly & efficiently. Record Store Day for US is about YOU as much as it is a celebration of independent record stores and the special culture indie shops cultivate. Over our 50 years, we’ve had (and continue to have…) such amazing, supportive, dedicated and genuinely nice customers & wonderful friends, and we couldn’t be more grateful as a true “mom ‘n pop” indie store.
