Pivo Night!
Notch presents Pivo Night!
In traditional Czech beer halls you do not order your beer, it comes to you as soon as you sit down. And it keeps coming, and coming, until you place a coaster over your beer as a sign that you’ve had enough. There is a piece of paper the waiter will notch with each beer delivered, and the notches are tallied and your bill presented. In most Czech beer halls you’ll find one pale lager that is served, most often a 10P (or 4.0% ABV). Ones with a larger selection have a 12P (or 5% ABV) and a Tmavy or Cerne (Dark or Black).
In the spirit of this non-fussy and unpretentious beer service, Notch brings you Pivo Night! No need to order, no need to decide, no tyranny of 50 draft choices. Simply enjoy the beer coming to you, and do what the Czech’s do best, drink tasty lager without talking about it. We will switch it up and offer a different Pivo through the night. In order of service: Tenner (our 10P 4.0% pale lager), Polotmavy (our 12P 4.5% amber lager), Cerne (our 12P 4.5% black lager). When the beer service and food is complete, we’ll also have the Standard (our 12P 4.4% pale lager).
