Memorial Day Remembrance

On behalf of Mayor Bob McCarthy and the Salem Veterans Council, we welcome your attendance at this year’s Memorial Day remembrance being held on Monday, May 29, 2023. This year’s event will not be at Greenlawn Cemetery, but at the intersection of Gardner and Cabot Streets to dedicate a Veteran Square to the memory of PFC Rene “Pete’ Pelletier who was killed in action 2 months prior to the end of WWII.
