“Macbeth” Presented by the Revolutionary Theatre Company

nnnnParanoia. Power. Witchcraft. Macbeth presented at the Rebecca Nurse HomesteadnnnnnnnnnRevolutionary Theatre Company is proud to present Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Macbeth on the Meeting House Stage September 21st through the 29th. nBelieved to have been written sometime between 1603 and 1607, we are using Shakespeare’s original text explore themes from the 1692 Salem Witchcraft Hysteria that happened almost one hundred years later- and unfortunately still plague society today. A cast of sixteen actors present the tale in our reproduction of the 1692 Salem Village Meeting House at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, a site with direct ties to the Hysteria. nSaturday September 21st at 5pm nSunday September 22nd at 4pm nSaturday September 28th at 5pm nSunday September 29th at 4pm nTickets are 12.00 and general admission.
