Bats have one of the most sophisticated flying mechanisms of any animal, with more than 40 joints in their wings. The way bats swoop through the air inspired robotics engineer Alireza Ramezani to invent the Bat Bot drone, which is highlighted in the current Bats! exhibition. Come see the original Bat Bot and hear Ramezani talk about the process of inventing a drone that can flap, glide and turn, as well as his current project: a more advanced version of the Bat Bot that perches and hangs upside down.
