The magical world is laden with symbols- some easy to discern, others cryptic and bizarre. In this lecture, join Catland co-owner Melissa Madara as we cover the basics of sigil-craft, creating our own symbols for magical work and analyzing a few unique marks from witches past, leaving with a complex understanding of this unique magical art. This class will cover an analysis of symbolism and it’s interpretation, two methods of crafting our own sigils, and a litany of historical examples, traditional marks, and unique applications for employing sigils and symbols in our own magical work.
