HISTORIC NEW ENGLAND NORTH SHORE PROPERTIES WELCOME THE PUBLIC TO AN OPEN HOUSE

Historic New England will be offering free tours at all thirty eight historic sites throughout New England on
Saturday, June 3 . On the North Shore, visitors can experience over 300 hundred years of history in the
organization’s 10 properties, including Phillips House and Gedney House in Salem, Beauport, the Sleeper-
McCann House in Gloucester, and Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury.

Learn about the rich and diverse history of New England’s indigenous and colonial past throughout the region.
Visit with farm animals in Newbury. Check out antique cars and carriages on the “most beautiful street in
America” in Salem.

Visitors to Cape Ann can tour two special collections. Visit Beauport, the seaside summer home of one of
America’s first interior designers, and Cogswell’s Grant with its celebrated collection of folk art.
