Hawthorne in Hollywood Film Series Preview

Did you know that Nathaniel Hawthorne has over 60 film credits to his name? Hawthorne’s work has inspired Hollywood since 1908. Join us at The House of the Seven Gables as we roll out the red carpet and explore three of these films as part of our POP! Goes The Gables exhibition. nOn July 7, we’ll be showing the silent version of The Scarlet Letter (1926) starring the legendary Lillian Gish.
