Grimoire: A Tarot Journaling Workshop (with Monica Bodirsky)
MAGICKAL ARCANA: KEEPING A TAROT GRIMOIRE
For beginner or seasoned tarot readers, witch practitioners, artists and writers. Join me in
creating a magickal and lively reference book. I will be using my most recent release, the
Awakening tarot as a reference. Copies will be available at the Witchery.
My style is to engage you in a practice that empowers you by connecting you to the essence of
spirit, your ancestors and the divine through tarot and magical practitioner journaling. By using
the imagery and symbolism of a tarot deck and a dedicated journal, you will learn how to create
a comprehensive wayfinding method for spiritual awakening and wellness.
Includes instruction, demonstration and Q and A, take home instruction PDF, pen and stickers to
get you started on your journey.
Participants must bring a journal and tarot deck in order to get the full experience of this workshop. These materials may be purchased at The Witchery with a 20% discount for those with tickets to the workshop.
About the Instructor:
Monica Bodirsky is an artist, author, advisor and Witch whose specialty is tarot. Her innovative
work empowers people by building bridges to unseen realms where connections to self, ancestral wisdom, and the environment are cultivated.
She is the author and artist of many tarot, oracle and Lenormand decks and guidebooks
including the bestselling Shadowland Tarot (Red Feather Mind, Body and Spirit) and the
recently released Awakening Tarot: An Elemental Approach.
An advocate of creating capacity through community connections, she is the founder and
programmer of the WITCHfest North Arts and Culture Festival, C.A.T.S (Coffee and Tarot
Society), and, is a sought-after speaker at international divination gatherings.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Design, she taught at OCAD University for ten years and currently
holds multidisciplinary art and spirituality residencies in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
