Gedney’s Hidden History: A Neighborhood Walking Tour

During the first half of the twentieth century, Salem’s High, Endicott, and Gedney Streets supported a thriving community of Italian immigrants. Historic New England’s Gedney House, located in the heart of the neighborhood, was a tenement that housed multiple Italian American families.
