Castle of Our Skins presents Romantic by Nature

Salem State University. Recital Hall, 71 Loring Ave.Castle of our Skins, a concert and educational series dedicated to celebrating Black artistry through music, makes its Salem State debut with “Romantic by Nature.” Richly indulgent and thoroughly romantic, this program includes a newly unearthed string quartet by Florence Price and the Neo-Romantic flare of Afro-British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor in his monstrous Clarinet Quintet.
