SUMMARY:Women & Witchcraft
DESCRIPTION:Help commemorate Women’s History Day in Salem with a visit to the Salem Witch Museum to meet two very special women from 1692. In addition to our main presentations\, stop in and meet Ann Dolliver and Ann Pudeator\, two women living in Salem who were accused of witchcraft during the Salem witch trials. Our costumed reenactors will be in our front vestibule answering questions\, discussing the latest events of March 1692\, and opening a window into the women’s world of the seventeenth-century. \nOur museum presentations are offered at our standard admission prices\, but interacting with these Puritan women is free and a great way to get involved with Women’s History Day! Join us for an engaging day of women’s history as we dive into the reality of women’s lives\, struggles\, and the witchcraft accusations of 1692.
