The City of Salem and CultureHouse are partnering to open a three-month-long community arts and culture pop-up hosted at Old Town Hall in Downtown Salem. CultureHouse Salem will transform the historic structure into a vibrant, connected, and accessible destination that supports local creatives. The short-term goal of this project is to activate this underused community resource and create a space for people to connect and engage with local artists and creatives. In the long term, this project serves as an incubator and testing site for future programming models for Old Town Hall.
CultureHouse Salem will be open Wednesday – Thursday from 1pm – 6pm and Friday – Saturday from 1pm – 8pm. We have events ranging from artist workshops to vendor markets, gallery exhibits, dance and music performances, and book discussions. Here is a glimpse of what to expect in April!
